Unconscious but breathing adequately

Recovery position if there is no spinal concern. Stay. Reassess. This can still become arrest.

Call 911 if: first collapse, trauma, seizure, diabetic, pregnant, not returning toward baseline, or any doubt.

   Open the airway. Look, listen, feel. If breathing is adequate and there is no spinal flag, recovery position for secretions.

   Check glucose. Check for medical alert jewelry. Look for bleeding.

   Keep them warm. Do not sit them up for a photograph. Do not leave them with an usher who is also greeting.
