Threat profiles and reporting
CCMS-SEC-SOP-001 §9
It is not enough to tell the team to 'look for threats.' Name the classes. Write the incidents. Brief the colors.
- Profiles to train: the outsider who came to kill, the insider who came to settle a score, the custody fight, the psychiatric walk-in, the person who wants the pastor right now, the predator hunting access to children, the protest that wants a camera.
- White: ordinary Sunday. Yellow: named person or event of concern, extra eyes, no change to the congregation's experience. Orange: the whole team is briefed, posts shift, law enforcement may be notified. Red: a named plan, possibly delaying or altering the gathering, always with the elders.
- Same-day written incident report for anything that happens on occupancy. Living file owned by the Safety Director. This is shepherding, not gossip.
- Recommended reading for hospitality and children's workers: Gavin de Becker, The Gift of Fear. They need enough to become extra eyes. They do not need the tactical plan.
This field guide does not replace 911, a medical director, or licensed clinical judgment. It does not authorize anyone to practice beyond license and current training.
