Act
Suspicious person / baseline break
CCMS-SEC-SOP-001 §6, §9
Notice backpacks, heavy coats out of season, hands, gait, and affect. This is where most problems are born and most problems can still be turned around. Head up. Phone down. Especially during prayer and the sermon when heads are down.
- 1
Primary door / foyer: greeter-security. Smile, scan, set the baseline.
- 2
Lot / approach: first eyes on vehicles and pedestrians. Watch for someone dressing a rifle in a parking space.
- 3
Do not treat everyone who owns a gun as the safety team. Untrained, unvetted, uncoordinated carriers in a sanctuary are a crossfire problem.
- 4
Write it down. Incident report for anything that happens during occupancy — same-day. Living threat matrix: white/yellow watch, orange brief the whole team, red means a named plan and, if warranted, a call to law enforcement before the next gathering.
